SOSU offers two main degree programs: The Professional Pilot Option and the Aviation Management Option. Both degree programs consist of between 56 and 60 credit hours of course work. The remaining 64 to 68 credit hours (totaling 124 credits needed for a degree) consist of General Education requirements and electives. The Professional Pilot Option is designed for those who wish to fly professionally for a commuter carrier, airline or corporate aviation department.
